Business Ethics Policy
We insist on handling business operations and employee relationships with integrity, objectivity, and impartiality. We believe that impartiality, integrity, and probity are our important business assets. Our sound reputation builds upon business ethics, integrity, objectivity, and impartiality practiced through the concerted effort of employees. We conduct all business activities with firm respect to all related laws and regulations. When operating business activities, we have a zero tolerance for employees are not allowed to request or accept any benefits either within or outside of Taiwan. In addition, we treat our business partners, including all supply chain partners, with integrity, professionalism, and impartiality. Based on the above beliefs and abidance by the law, we request all employees to uphold the following professional and business ethics and conducts:
- Handle all business transactions with integrity and impartiality.
- Sign contracts through legal methods.
- Treat all supply chain partners without bias.
- Process all confidential data provided by customers, employees and business partners with absolute confidentiality.
- Report to management the conflicts of interest that may happen or have happened.
- Carry out all duties with professionalism and impartiality to ensure the provision of quality products and professional services.
- Respect intellectual property rights and use no patented products, technologies, and concepts without permission.
This Policy specifies that abiding by business ethics is the fundamental duty of KLB employees. We have established a code of ethical conduct for employees to meet the highest standard in integrity, conduct, and professionalism. We also request all business partners to understand the business ethics and conduct that KLB employees must uphold and comply in order to create a clean and integral business environment. We request all employees to fully understand our business ethics policy and uphold the “CSR05-001 Code of Ethical Conduct”. Therefore, all new employees are requested to receive the business ethics training organized by the Administration Department. In addition, we organize business ethics talks from time to time with employees and invite supply chain partners to attend such talks. We will review and improve the existing business ethics policy and code of ethical conduct from time to time, and related management systems and procedures in order to continually improve standards relating to business ethics.
